Parents,

What a trying time. Covid-19 has disrupted everything that is normal and this wrestling season is no different. I am giving you an update as to parent attendance at our first 2 upcoming meets. I will give you the information that I have at this time. There may be more directives coming from administration but this is what I know as of now.

Our home dual is Thursday night against Elkhorn High School. At this meet ONLY household members will be able to attend. There will be protocols in place for social distancing and you will be required to wear a mask so don’t forget that. Our second meet is the home Cougar Classic. This meet becomes much more tricky as there are 10 teams so lots of competitors. At this meet our team and every team will only be allowed 1 family member to attend. YES I said 1 and only 1. We are lucky we get to have any attendance as there will be some meets this year that will not allow any family members attend.

There is one caveat to this. If you sign up and are a worker at our tournament you will be allowed in to help and then be allowed to watch your child wrestle. This is great for 2 reasons. 1. You get to watch your child participate in the greatest sport on earth.
2. We still need help.

Please if you have not signed up to help, please find the sign up genius under coach Trampe’s team app. We also are still in need of 3 video helpers. Please sign up asap because if you don’t and both parents want to attend you will not be able to do so. I am sorry but this is due to covid not us. We are trying to work around best we can and still be in compliance. Once the slots are gone they are gone.
