As we all have seen the State Ticket issue is huge in Nebraska right now. I am happy to say that Conestoga has not been affected by getting cut out of ticket volume. I do want to say that while there are a lot of schools upset we need to keep in mind that all schools do what we do. Get a list from all the parents and submit the order. The NSAA didn’t over sell anything, what they did is accept all the forms and then find out they have more requests that they have seats. Then when looking into it the saw that some schools "needed’ / wanted 300-400 tickets. The NSAA decided that wasn’t fair and wanted to make sure that all schools got to have representation in the crowd. Also this year they didn’t sell the seats reserved for coaches and athletes like last year (that was a one year thing that didn’t go well). So they took tickets from schools that wanted “excessive” (my word not NSAA) and made sure that smaller schools got to see their wrestlers.
This all being said we have all our tickets and I am going to start transferring the tickets to those that ordered them. As stated we received the tickets that we asked for so all that wanted them will get them. If you no longer want your tickets there are several exchanges that i will make sure are on our Facebook page. I do ask that you give our team a chance to buy them before giving to other teams. All our tickets are together and would like our team to stay together if possible. To do this use the comment section of this post to connect and make the transfers.
I am going to start transferring the tickets over the next 24 hours. All tickets are electronic and will be sent to the email you put on your order form.
