Good Morning and welcome to the second half of the wrestling year. I hope that everyone had a great couple days off and is ready to get back to work. This week is slow for the boys team but busy for the girls team. We have our Spotlight on Girls tournament Tuesday which as always will feature over 25 ranked girls and all finals matches should be state medal level matches. I appreciate everyone's help in putting on our tournaments it is a huge undertaking to keep rolling smoothly. When we host tournaments we are always told how smooth the tournament runs and how great the hospitality room is. Seriously, you parents do such a good job that we literally have teams come just because it is so good. Here is the schedule for the week. Anything else please let me know.

Monday 12/29 - Practice 4:00pm to 6:00pm, Tournament set up 6:00pm -7:30pm Shouldn't take long the mats are already put together just need rolled out.

Tuesday12/30 - Girls report to school at 6:00am, Weigh ins at 7:00am (You get the Christmas 2 lbs) , Wrestling starts at 9:00am. Tournament should last until roughly 6:00pm. Clean up = More hands less work. Boys we will find time in the day for you to head to the DEN and practice.

Wednesday 12/31 - Practice 2:00pm - 4:00pm (times to confirm with team and coaches)

Thursday 1/1 - Practice 4:00pm to 6:00pm (times to confirm with team and coaches)

Friday 1/2 - Boys: Report to school at 4:15pm, Weigh ins at 5:00pm, Wrestling starts at 6:00pm
Girls: Meet at the school at 4:45am. Weigh ins at 7:30am, Wrestling starts at 9:00am (You only get the Christmas 2 lbs) . We will get back roughly around 9:00pm. This is a huge tournament and very competitive.

Saturday 1/3 - Girls meet at the school 6:45am, Weigh ins at 8:00am (You get the holiday 2 lbs and 1 more). Wrestling starts at 9:30am. I know this is short turn around and we will have a few of these but it prepares the team for back to back days at districts and state.
